Fleet Support Runner - Full Time
This role will assist our Installation and Delivery departments by handling a variety of manual labor tasks to ensure our technicians and drivers can be efficient in completing their assignments.

Load and unload vehicles with necessary equipment, parts and materials
Stock/retrieve parts in warehouse as needed
Assist technicians by handling activities such as removing/adding units, carrying hose or materials, etc.
Pick up and deliver parts
Handle general housekeeping items such as removing garbage, sweeping, general cleaning, removing snow, etc
Perform typical handyman duties
Must be able to work overtime including weekends and holidays. All runners are required to participate in an on-call rotation.

High school diploma or GED with some working experience

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers or other employees in our organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Ability to multitask and prioritize including the completion of daily call logs.
Must be able to perform light handyman duties and general vehicle inspections
Having good communication skills.
Ability to work in fast paced environment.
Must be able to follow instructions and carry out in a timely manner.
Must have or be able to obtain DOT health card.
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening and drug testing.

Location:
Ability to commute required. The position is In-person in the office in Port Chester, NY. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical & Mental Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, squat, reach, carry, talk or listen.
Physical requirements include:
Ability to lift, maneuver or push/pull 100lbs including in and out of vehicles.
Ability to drive a 15 foot box truck required.
Be able to climb up/down ladders and inclines.
Be able to pull oil truck hose up to 150 feet.
Schedule:
8 hour shifts, Monday - Friday, Weekends as needed.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must have valid and clean driver’s license.
